READY FOR RYEDALE ?

Are you starting at Ryedale School in September?

Do you play a musical instrument?

Do you want to start learning to play a musical instrument?

Ryedale School is very well recognised for both musical excellence in gerneral and the wide range of performing opportunities it offers young instrumentalists in the concert band, brass band and the StrayHorns big band.

As a long established brass and woodwind instrumental teacher based in Kirkbymoorside, I have been teaching and working with the young people in the school bands in Ryedale School for 24 years, and it has been the most rewarding work that I could ever have wished for.

Now is the time to apply  for a lesson place if you want to have instrumental tuition on a brass or woodwind instrument.   

Apply by Friday 21st July to guarantee a confident and easy start nest term so that you can start without delay.

I will be delighted to meet you in the school music department for an informal chat about learning to play a brass or woodwind instrument.  (look for the badge "Mr Coates")

I will be offering the opportunity of a free taster session at my music studio in Kirkbymoorside for those wanting further information. You will be able to have a closer look and have a try out on a number of instruments.

e.g. Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Trumpet, Cornet, Trombone.

If we can get all of the starting process completed before the end of this term, we can then have an immediate and confident start in September.
