Carol Playing in Helmsley

Good News!   We now have our licence for Carol Playing in Helmsley market place on Saturday 10th December and we have permission to collect money.

This will be our first time playing out in public and we have a good opportunity of making some money for the band.

I would like all band members to try and keep that morning free, and if you have any friends that play instruments, invite them along.  More the merrier!

Yippee...! Half Term Holidays

Isn't it great that the half term school holidays are here?  No more school for a whole week, no maths or science.

Just think of all that free time you will have to practice your instrument.

I'm confident that all of my students will arive back after the school holidays, demonstrating how much they have improved and perfectly fluent playing their scales.

Have a great half term.

Brilliant Band Practice

What more could I have asked for?  You all played well, paid attention and were all well behaved.

Band was brilliant and I didn't even lose my voice.  I would like to thank all of you for the effort put into the band practice and I know that playing Christmas music in October is rather sad, but this is what us musicians have to put up with.  It would be nice to see some of you starting up the theory of music club again, especially if you wish to go through your grades.  I can only run the theory club if we have two or more members who can attend on a regular basis.
